Convoluted PTFE tube is a common fittings in industry. It’s heated to a certain temperature in a certain mold, and a certain internal pressure is given in the tube to expand (blow) the tube laterally, and then cool and form.
People use this tube because of its excellent flexibility and excellent temperature and chemical resistance. Its minimum bending radius increases with the diameter of the pipe, but it is not flexible. Use temperature between -65 degrees to +260.
This tube is ideal for harsh working conditions. They are chemically inert and non-flammable, making them suitable for transporting most corrosive materials. It is because of its chemical and heat resistance that PTFE hose can be widely used in semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, electrical, food/medical industries, chemical, petrochemical, automation, laboratory equipment and other industries for high temperature and chemical resistance Corrosive applications.

This convoluted hose is braided with 304/316 stainless steel wire and capable of operating at twice the maximum pressure and considerably higher temperatures of polymer braided hoses. The stainless steel wire braid also provides considerable physical protection against knocks, abrasions, or other mechanical damage.
All convoluted PTFE tube provide anti-static functionality instead of traditional PTFE liners. This anti-static liner is necessary when fluids that exhibit high electrical resistance, such as solvents or fuels, are being transported through wrapped PTFE tubing. Due to the low electrical resistance between the liner and the end fittings, any static electricity that begins to build up on or within the pipe can be harmlessly dissipated before building to potentially dangerous levels.
PTFE bellows are available in sizes from 1/4"/ 6.5mm ID to 4"/100mm OD. If you need a special order, we can change the size of the diameter, or cut the tube to the specified length and add cuffs, flanges or flares to meet your special requirements.
