Medium pressure smooth hole PTFE hose (3000 PSI) is widely used in demanding compressed gas and industrial applications. Its chemically resistant inert PTFE creates an almost “universal” hose capable of handling medium pressure applications of all (high temperature) and corrosive media. Such as chemical industry, hot melt glue, paper and pulp, hot press, steam, fuel oil, paint, machinery, and many other demanding applications. Similar limitations of rubber, metal, and synthetic hoses make PTFE hoses the only solution anywhere. Our custom, precision-machined fittings can provide truly reliable hose assemblies for all your demanding applications.
In addition, the Besteflon medium pressure smooth hose also provides non-conductive and conductive PTFE tube. Some applications require a conductive lining to dissipate the electrostatic charges. High resistivity fluid or gas at high velocity can form a positive charge inside the PTFE lining. If not dissipated to the end of the hose, the charge will accumulate until it passes through the tube wall to the braided layer, causing a catastrophic hose failure. To alleviate this problem, a carbon black conductive lining would be added to the inner tube wall.

PTFE hoses are ideal for flexible hoses, and they have excellent resistance to hot pressure pulses, bending, vibration, and aging. It can be used under harsh conditions of continuous bending and vibration without failure caused by bending fatigue.
The wide temperature range is from-65 F to 450 F and can be used continuously for a long time in low / high temperatures working environment.
Therefore, our PTFE hoses are well-suited for applications that require high and low temperatures, chemical resistance, low friction coefficient, flexibility, and non-aging properties. These medium pressure PTFE smooth bore hose all meet or exceed the SAE 100R14 standard.
But it is worth noting that these hoses are not recommended for high dynamic pressure loads. The working temperature will directly affect the working pressure. When our temperature is above 120 C, we have to consider the decompression coefficient:(Maximum working pressure = working pressure x coefficient)
Temperature: 120 C / 140 C / 160 C / 180 C / 200 C / 220 C.
Coefficient: 1.00 / 0.80 / 0.60 / 0.40 / 0.20 / 0.0
